James B. Wilcox – President-- Jim attributes his knowledge of the
North Carolina market to the 14+ years he worked for Holly Farms Poultry, before
entering the brokerage business in 1983. While at Holly Farms, Jim worked his
way from the Sales Analyst for the Director of Sales and Marketing into the
position of General Manager of Deli Products (chicken, franks, bologna and other
new poultry items). During this time, he established super rapport with the key
people at Food Lion, Harris Teeter, Ingles, Kroger-Salem and several small
independents. Jim takes pride in personally selecting the people best suited for
the positions he seeks to fill.
Darryl Marshall – Account Executive – Darryl brings over 23 years
sales experience to the Wilcox Team. Darryl has made headquarter calls to every
major retailer in Virginia and the Carolinas. Darryl's main focus is the
headquarter calls at Food Lion for meat and seafood.
Kevin Hughes – Account Executive – Kevin’s responsibilities
include headquarter and warehouse calls to BI-LO in Mauldin, SC. He joined the
Wilcox Team in June 1997.
Marty Nichols – Account Executive – Marty works with the
Kroger-Salem division, as well as all groups that pull from MDI (Lowes Foods,
Galaxy, IGA, etc). Marty has been an Account Executive with Wilcox Marketing
since July 1997.
Scott Agnew – Account Executive – Scott brings over 25 years sales
experience to the Wilcox Team. Scott has made headquarter calls to every major
grocery retailer in the Carolinas, which include the Meat, Deli, Grocery and
Frozen Grocery departments. He is very involved with Harris Teeter at the
corporate level, as well as store level. Scott also assists with Food Lion
Mark Boles – Account Executive – Mark has worked with all of our
retailers at both the corporate and store level. Before joining our team, Mark
worked in-house at Food Lion with commodities and packaged meats. Mark continues
to make headquarter calls to Food Lion and Piggly-Wiggly in SC.
Scott Nichols – Account Executive & Retail Coordinator – Scotty
joined our Team in 2000 with 13 years experience as a Retail Rep. He came on
board to coordinate the efforts of our retail team. Scotty schedules our people
for resets, grand openings and routine retail. He communicates ads/promotional
activities and encourages special displays and extra space for our items in each
store. Scotty also makes the headquarter calls to Food City in Abingdon, VA.
Chad Warren – Account Executive – Chad joined the company in
January 2002 and works weekly with the Ingles offices. He does their planograms,
as well as coordinating their reset team schedules. With 20 years meat
experience, Chad is a strong part of our team.
Minnie Wilcox – Vice President and Secretary/Treasurer – Minnie is
responsible for all corporate accounting, payroll, insurance and taxes. Minnie
has been with the company since day one in September 1983.
